Children’s Toy Chest & Bookcase

The brief was to create a bespoke children’s toy chest and coordinating bookcase that combined playful character with practical storage, complementing the room’s colourful cabinetry.

Traditional panelling and a softly curved top were paired with decorative woven straps and a colourful chest interior to match the surrounding joinery. A lift-out tray keeps smaller treasures organised, while a soft close lid helps protect little fingers.

The wall mounted bookcase continues the playful detailing with gently scalloped sides and a warm yellow finish. Three tiers of shallow shelving display favourite books face on, with rounded retaining rails keeping them neatly in place and their colourful covers on show.
