Cabinetry Crafted with Pride and Respect

The Norfolk Workshop combines exceptional craftsmanship, considered design, and decades of experience to create bespoke cabinetry with pride in every detail and respect for the homes, spaces, and clients we work with.

Our Quality Standards

Our cabinets are built for long-term stability, using American tulip wood and high-grade oak-veneered ply, finished with a waterproof lacquer to help resist warping and cracking in busy, high-traffic spaces.

We offer a carefully considered range of premium hardwoods, substrates, and durable finishes, with functional interior details designed to be every bit as beautiful as the doors themselves.

Each cabinet is handcrafted by our talented team, bringing together over 150 years of combined experience in fine kitchen craftsmanship.

The Standards We Work By

Quality is built into every stage of our process, starting with the first design conversation to the final installation.

In the workshop, we follow clear quality control procedures to make sure every piece meets the standard we expect of ourselves. Nothing leaves The Norfolk Workshop until it has been carefully checked, approved and signed off with our QC stamp.

For us, quality is not only about how something looks, but how it is made, how it functions, and how it will stand the test of time.

We take pride in everything we do.

That pride runs through the whole team in the way we approach each project, make time for the details, maintain our standards and support each other’s work. Every cabinet, every finish and every installation reflects the skill, care and commitment of the talented people behind it.

Pride is what keeps us striving to do things properly, even in the details that may never be seen.

Respect is at the heart of good craftsmanship.

We respect the natural materials we work with, understanding that timber is a living product with its own character, movement and beauty. We also respect each other’s tools, workspaces and materials, because a well run workshop depends on care, order and consideration at every stage.

That same respect extends to our clients, their homes and the trust they place in us.

Quality also means delivering what the client truly needs.

We listen carefully, communicate clearly and work with the end result in mind: cabinetry that suits the space and those that live with it daily.

For us, good service is not separate from good craftsmanship. It is part of the same standard, making sure the finished project is not only beautifully made, but right for the customer.

Our Materials

We work with a carefully selected range of high-quality hardwoods, chosen for their beauty, durability, and suitability for fine cabinetry. Each timber is graded by our specialists, allowing us to select the best cut for your chosen finish, design, and overall aesthetic.

Our Paint Finishes

We use premium, low-VOC paints and specialist wood finishes, selected for their depth of colour, excellent coverage, and long-lasting durability.

Every painted piece is carefully prepared using the appropriate primers and undercoats before finishing. This allows us to achieve a smooth, refined, and hard-wearing result, creating cabinetry that feels beautiful, considered, and made to last.

Hardware & Handles

Our handles and hardware are chosen with the same attention to detail as the cabinetry itself. We offer a considered range of options, from timeless solid brass handles to more contemporary finishes, including premium British-made hardware from makers such as Armac Martin.

Each piece is selected to complement the design, enhance everyday use, and provide a finishing detail that feels both functional and refined.
